Summary
Under Government Code sections 68502.5(b) and 77202.5(b), the Judicial Council is required to submit a report to the Legislature that provides financial data--including fund sources, totals, and balances--for all individual courts. The report must be submitted by December 31 following the close of each fiscal year (FY). On December 29, 2023, Judicial Council staff submitted Report of Trial Court Trust Fund Revenue, Expenditure, and Fund Balance Constraints for FY 2022-23 to the Legislature.
