Recommendation
The Appellate Advisory Committee recommends that the Judicial Council, effective January 1, 2017, amend rule 8.487 to add a new procedure for submission of applications to file amicus curiae briefs in those writ proceedings in which an alternative writ or order to show cause is issued.
