Summary
Under the Budget Act of 2007 (Stats. 2007, ch. 171), the Judicial Council is required to report annually to the Legislature on the allocation of funding for support of new judgeships authorized in 2007 until all the judgeships are appointed and new staff hired. On December 29, 2023, Judicial Council staff submitted Report on Allocation of Funding in 2022-23 for Support of New Judgeships Authorized in 2007-08.
